The starting point was wrong.
I keep seeing people blame the tool when the tool was never the real problem.
They pick up AI, use it hard for two weeks, then quietly stop. Nothing dramatic happens. The subscription just becomes another tab they avoid.
The first workflow decides whether the system gets trusted.
Most people start with the thing that annoys them most. That feels rational. But the most annoying task is often tangled in judgment, exceptions, missing context, and invisible owner preference.
Those tasks are hard to hand to a person. They are worse to hand to a tool.
The better starting point is usually smaller and less impressive: a handoff, a repeatable draft, a routing step, a summary that happens the same way every time. The kind of work boring enough to trust.
What task owns space in your head even when you are not doing it, and is it consistent enough to hand off?
